The first Stated Communication of St. John's Lodge #2 was held this past Monday, January 4th at 7:30 P.M..

The meeting was preceded by a meal enjoyed by the Brethren who arrived early, and who were saved a piece of the wonderful cake served at the installation ceremony.

The program of the evening included the installation of our Organist, Jonathan Arnold; as well as an esoteric presentation by the Master on the significance and relevance of gavels - especially in light of the New Year.

The Master also related his contact with a living relative of Jehosophat Starr who was the first Worshipful Master of St. John's #2 in 1754.

The next Stated Communication of the Lodge will be held on the third Monday of January - the 18th, at 7:30 P.M. That night there will be an Entered Apprentice Degree for the first round of our many candidates. Dinner will be served at 6:30 P.M.. Formal attire is required for Officers and encouraged for all other attendees.
