My Brothers, I have sent my last Trestleboard of my second term as Master of St. John’s #2. It has been an honor and a privilege to serve you as Master for the past two years.
There have been many challenges and some sad occasions during this time. Two of our Past Masters, W:.B:. Dana Brochu and W:. B:. Paul Roberts have been called to the Celestial Lodge above. A very good friend of St. John’s Lodge, W:. B:. William “Bill” Perruccio was also called to the Celestial Lodge. W:. B:. Perruccio was kind enough to play the organ for many of our Degrees before Brother Jonathan Arnold joined us.
We have also had our share of successes. We processed over 100 children at our annual CTCHIP event at Middletown Safety Day, despite inclement weather and only having one video cameral available for use.
The lodge also donated 26 pounds of food to the Amazing Grace food pantry of Middletown – this during the summer when these organizations are desperate for donations.
I hope you will join us during the last four months of our Masonic year to welcome our Fellowcrafts into full membership in the Fraternity, and to celebrate our achievements at our awards night on October 17th – where your family and friends are welcome to join us.
Thank you all again, for the privilege of serving you.
Sincerely and Fraternally,
Don Tansey
